'The Creek'

Originally, the first hole of the course until the now front nine opened. This will be your first look at the creek which you will have to cross a total of 4 times on the back nine. Your tee shot is important. You either go for it or lay up. Clearing the creek off the tee makes it possible to reach the green in two for the longer hitters. The guarding bunkers around the green provide a challenge, as do the rolling mounds on each side of the fairway putting a premium on accuracy. Par and birdie set you up well for the next hole.
