Rainbow Ridge Golf Course is Closed for the Season on October 20, 2025

As we approach October 20th and the end of the season, I realize I haven’t provided an update in awhile. Year one is near complete for course improvements. We didn’t get to everything on our list for this season, but below the surface the superintendent and his team have tackle the irrigation system full on and have corrected much of the problems we had over the last few years. We hope this buys us several more years and helps with any watering issue we had especially on some of our greens. I know on the surface we have struggled the last few years but with the work done this year will help us greatly. This fall there will be additional work done on our bunkers to help complete more of those to ready ourselves for 2026.

Continued work on irrigation has helped improve the playability of the green. There are still some trouble spots we are tackling, but it’s a process, and we will get them back. Bunker sand has arrived, and we will be working on a few of the greenside bunkers from now until the end of the season. An assessment of our water pumps is being conducted soon. This will aid in determining further repairs or replacement of parts.

Several projects are now underway. The grounds crew have been working hard on getting our irrigation system updated. A focus on bringing our greens back up to par is underway with the improvements to our irrigation which provides better watering to problem areas. The greens will also gradually be brought back close to original size as you will see them shaped different with new lines as they go. We are also starting work on our bunker restoration project beginning with Holes 1, 16, and 18. We will continue to play with a free lift from bunkers no closer to the hole until they are deemed playable. These are just some of the areas of improvement that will be ongoing over the next 5-8 years. We will continue to provide updates here on all progress and any issues that may arise. We are pleased to announce we have hired Jeff Parsons as our new Golf Course Superintendent. This is an exciting time for Rainbow Ridge Golf Course as we move towards adopting a new capital plan for the golf course and property. Let us all welcome him into this new position.

We are currently working on a Golf Course Capital Plan that will be presented to our shareholders in the coming months. The plan will address infrastructure improvements on the golf course and properties. This plan once adopted, will be carried out over a 5-8 year period.
